Rising Garden Journal welcomes pitches that help readers understand plant growth, garden conditions, design choices, seasonal work or garden history. Send proposals through the Contact page, with Write for Us selected as the reason for writing.

What we welcome

We are interested in original, clearly framed ideas that explain how something works, compare distinct approaches, place a garden practice in context or offer useful planning for a defined situation. Strong pitches give readers a specific question to follow and a reason the subject matters beyond a narrow trend.

Shape a useful pitch

Tell us the working idea, the central point you would make, the intended reader and the category it fits. A brief outline is helpful. Say what information or expertise the piece would need, and flag any limits or conditions that readers should understand. We cannot promise acceptance or publication.

Originality and care

Submissions should be original and written in clear English. Avoid unsupported claims, sweeping promises and advice that could be unsafe without professional or local assessment. Please disclose any relevant commercial interest when you pitch.
